SkillsUSA Career Essentials Teacher Certification
The Career Essentials Teacher Certification allows you to mentor and teach the SkillsUSA Career Essentials Certifications to your student members. The SkillsUSA Career Essentials suite engages students in defining, implementing and measuring their career-readiness skills along every point in their educational journey, whether it be middle-school, high-school, college/postsecondary including the adult learner. The curriculum generates high levels of student engagement and is built on evidence-based outcomes that support the industry-validated Career-Ready Assessment.

SkillsUSA Engage Advisor Training
Engage is annual professional development training provided by SkillsUSA at the National Leadership and Skills Conference. The topics change from year to year, allowing for advisors to continually find new ways to improve their impace on their students. Filled with fun activities, prizes, and amazing ideas, this training never disappoints.
Academy of Excellence in CTE and SkillsUSA
This amazing opportunity was added in June 2021 and occurs at the National Leadership and Skills Conference. There are multiple areas of focus, including chapter management, Career Essentials teacher certificaiton, CTE program planning, classroom management, new advisors tools and more! Class times allow for advisors to attend multiple training sessions and up their game!
Transition to Teaching
This amazing training was added in June 2021 and occurs at the National Leadership and Skills Conference. The Academy of Excellence is the inaugural Transition to Teaching conference. Valued at $3,000, this conference provides teachers who do not have formal teacher preparatory training with an intensive experience to learn about lesson planning and the management of classrooms, laboratories and SkillsUSA chapters. These sessions are perfect for new advisors and new CTE teachers.

Washington Leadership Training Institute
SkillsUSA offers a great experience for advisors attending WLTI in Washington, D.C. With activities and lessons that give you a taste of other available training opportunities and SkillsUSA Framework driven sessions, everyone is able to find something that they can take back to their chapters and their classrooms.
